GALATEA'S COMMITMENT TO SUPPORTING WOMEN TECHNOLOGISTS

Galatea Associates is committed to supporting women and non-binary associates, and we recognize that FinTech is a historically male-dominated field, so we offer the following:

  • Commitment to Gender Pay Equity: Galatea is committed to ensuring that associates are compensated fairly, and as part of our annual compensation review process we ensure that the median pay of female associates is on par with the median pay of male associates.

  • Culture of Mentorship: We have a culture of informal mentorship, as well as a formalized mentorship program in which every new associate who joins Galatea is paired with a mentor. Your mentor will be a more experienced associate on a different project team, who can act as a resource for any of your questions about expectations, communication, or team dynamics. Your mentor will meet with you regularly for lunches or coffee (paid for by the company!) to check in on how you’re feeling about your training, your team, and your assignments. Mentorship is not just for new joiners - the mentorship relationship will grow with you over the course of your career at Galatea.

  • Women In Tech Employee Resource Group: All women working for Galatea are invited to join the Women In Tech ERG, which is a group centered around discussing issues that are relevant for women working in the FinTech space. The group meets on a biweekly basis and is a great opportunity to form relationships with other women at the company. Past topics of discussion include: gendered microaggressions, imposter syndrome, and feedback on benefits structure including paid parental leave.

We look forward to connecting with you soon!
