Founding Partners
Michael Higgins
Michael Higgins has amassed extensive sell-side experience working in the Financial Services industry since 1985. Before co-founding Galatea, Michael worked at Morgan Stanley for ten years developing systems in New York, London, and Tokyo. Michael spent several years as product manager directing the renovation of TAPS, Morgan Stanley's legacy trade processing applications. After graduating with an S.B. degree from M.I.T. in 1983, Michael began his career at Accenture where he was a senior consultant working in various industries.
John McMahon
John McMahon co-founded Galatea after serving as VP of IT at The Boston Company Asset Management. John has broad buy-side experience. Before the Boston Company, John worked for ten years at Accenture and was an Associate Partner in the Financial Services practice. John has led application development efforts for numerous clients. He graduated in 1981 with a B.S. from RPI and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
